Don't Quit. Join the Fight.

March 30, 2012

Dear Coach Hep Indiana Cancer Challenge Supporters,
Since its conception, the Coach Hep Indiana Cancer Challenge (CHICC) has raised over $150,000 that has been donated to the Simon Cancer Center, Hoosier Oncology Group and the Olcott Center. We have witnessed members of this community, the state of Indiana and even beyond make a contribution to the fight against cancer. As a committee, our lives have been touched by your stories, your generosity and your friendship.
Since last year’s event, a great deal of thought and consideration has been given to the future of CHICC. We regret to say we will not be holding a 2012 Coach Hep Indiana Cancer Challenge event. Sadly CHICC will also say goodbye to a few committee members who are being called to other worthwhile endeavors. We wish them all the best; they will continue to do great things!
Today marks a new chapter of the Coach Hep Indiana Cancer Challenge. For now, the committee has decided take the organization in a new direction. This new direction will give us the same opportunity to band together and fight against something that means so much to us. We hope to announce our future plans in the winter of 2012.
The Coach Hep Indiana Cancer Challenge would like to thank you for your support over the years. Every member of CHICC family has poured their hearts into this organization. CHICC is not closing its doors, rather taking some time to evaluate how we as an organization can best develop resources for cancer research. In the meantime, remember that we all have ties to cancer. The red shoestrings won’t be gone for long! Don’t Quit!

Sincerely,

The Coach Hep Indiana Cancer Challenge Committee
